I am a sophomore at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) enrolled as an International Development Studies major. I am also a UCLA Alumni Scholarship recipient for the UCLA Alumni Scholars Club.

I completed my first year at UCLA with Dean's Honors and involvement in a variety of activities and projects, including acting as a branding strategist for a rising social enterprise (Net Impact), serving as a mentor to at-risk middle school youth (Los Angeles Team Mentoring), and producing a film that demonstrates the logistical, emotional, and medical realities of heart transplant recipients and candidates.

I would be honored to not only show you my beautiful campus (dorms included), but also provide you with an unfiltered student insight on the academic, social, and personal realities of attending the top public university in the U.S. As a first generation student with immigrant parents, I can also share how I overcame my struggles during the college application process and persuasion of my parents to allow me to attend and live at UCLA.
