I am a sophomore at UW-Madison majoring in History, while I'm also applying to the Journalism school for Strategic Communication. I'm also learning Spanish and hope to be completely fluent by the time I graduate in 2020!
Beyond my academic commitments I am very involved on campus! I work extensively with an internationally oriented organisation on campus called AIESEC. We provide opportunities to UW's student and send many away on volunteering projects and internships around the world! It is a great way to meet people from different countries and cultures as well as the many Wisconsin students I talk to. In turn I also host a radio show on WSUM that plays exclusively British music. It's one of the best ways for American's to understand the world's best music!
Though you may have guessed, I am an international student from Cambridge in England. This is another reason I am so excited about showing people around Wisconsin and my University. I only arrived to the USA last December so am still incredibly interested in meeting people from all over this great country! Meeting people from different places is one of the main reasons I came across the pond for University so I hope I can encourage to join this brilliant school with an enthusiastic and unique tour of the school and Madison itself!
