I am a first-generation student wrapping up my Junior year at Boston University. With that being said, I had to figure out the whole college ordeal pretty much on my own, from scratch. However, doing so has allowed me to gain helpful insight that will make your college experience slightly less painful.

Don’t get me wrong; I love BU! It’s given me lifelong friendships, and amazing opportunities that, without a doubt, have definitely benefited my career, such as being a part of the award-winning student-lead newspaper "The Daile Free Press" as a videographer, helping with development and production of television shows for Boston University’s student-operated media production and distribution network, butv10. Most recently, I took the life-changing opportunity to participate in BU’s London Internship Study Abroad Program where I was able to intern at a television production company and learn about the European media market. I've also participated in one of my favorite parts of BU, its First-Year Student Outreach Project; In my first year as a volunteer and in my second as a Staff leader where we lead a group of first-year students to volunteer around the Greater Boston area at various animal organizations.

I could not be happier with my choice for my undergraduate experience. However, no institution is perfect, and I will be sure to give you my 100% honest answers to all of your questions (#keepitreal) on everything from financial aid to diversity, to how I got in.

With all of the chaos that goes into applying for college, I’d love the opportunity to make your experience as smooth as possible.

Fun Fact:: I originally wanted to be a zoologist after working at a zoo for six years, where I got to work with zebras, giraffes, addaxes, warthogs, goats, tortoises, donkeys, and bongos (the herbivorous forest ungulate, not the drum :D).
