NKU is a growing metropolitan university of more than 14,000 students served by more than 2,000 faculty and staff on a thriving suburban campus near Cincinnati.

I'm a senior and a journalism major student. NKU has been my home for many years and I'm incredibly happy that I came to this school all the way from Russia. One of the main university's slogans is "Find Your Spark". I can confidently say that students, professors, faculty, and staff have helped me to discover my own path, my own spark. I'm a member of Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity and a reporter in a student newspaper The Northerner. Being a member of these two organizations, I connect with hundreds of students and actively engage in a college life, learning about American culture on the daily basis. I highly appreciate all NKU professors due to their professionalism, open-mindedness, and personal touch. Each professor is not only curious to get to know students that take their class, but also put the best effort to pass on credible knowledge and expertise.

NKU has a modern and the largest Recreation Center in the Northern Kentucky area. The facility includes everything from yoga and boxing classes, to gym, climbing wall, swimming pool, 5 basketball courts, and many more.

Throughout all years of getting my Bachelor's degree, I encountered an incredible support from the whole NKU community and will always suggest to pick this university for studying.
