I am currently a Sophomore at the University of Minnesota, Duluth, majoring in Psychology. I was fortunate to receive the Best of Class Scholarship as well as be accepted into University Honors!
On campus I have been involved in both Psychology Club and School Psychology Club! I was previously very involved in the Recreational Sports and Outdoor Program, and co-lead a group of 40 incoming freshman to the Boundary Waters this past summer! I am currently more active in University Honors, the Kirby Leadership Institute, Group Fitness, and the responsibilities through my internship in the College of Education and Human Service Profession's advising office.
Aside from academics and campus activities, I have loved taking advantage of what Duluth has to offer. I am current a Charge Staff working for TBI Residential and Community Services. My experiences in the Mental Health Field has directly related to my Major and given me valuable experiences and skills. I am a consistent attendee of Duluth's Zeitgeist Theater's TED talks! It has been an amazing opportunity to learn, make connections, and experience Duluth's community. I also love the outdoor adventures that Duluth has to offer! Four parks are within walking distance of campus that provide cross country skiing, hiking, swimming, biking, and even down hill skiing!
I love UMD and hope to share my experiences and knowledge with you! If you are interest in seeing the campus and/or hearing my knowledge, book a tour with me!
